This is Me and my beautifully gorgeous sister.

Reasons why I love Lindsay:

1. She has a superb sense of humour
2. She does this thing called the "homie dance" which confirms that she is the whitest girl to ever walk this earth
3. She shortens words to be more efficient? Or just to be funny? I don't always know which one
4. She makes a really disgusted face if anyone tries to touch her
5. She doesn't have any extra limbs growing out of her abdomen like the "octopus man"
6. She has a beautiful soprano voice, which she is humble about
7. She is smart, mature, and immature all at the same time

8. She has a killer smile
9. We have a lot of fun together
10. I'm so proud of her and I just love her!

There's other reasons why she's grrrreat, I just thought I'd share a couple.

I miss you so much Lindsay and I can't wait for you to come home. Kathleen, if you see this and you want me to write one about you, move away, and I will hahaha.

I forgot to add this to my last post...

Chris told Nathan and I about a series that Mark Driscoll is doing at his church called "The Peasant Princess" and it's all about the Song of Solomon! Nate and I watched the first one online last night and it was SO good. Very entertaining with a lot of really great stuff to say. So whether you are married, engaged, or single, you should check it out! This is just the preview, but the links to the rest of the sermon are on the site...

Life is Good

It is so windy out today and I love it, minus the fact that some branches were squeaking against my window and I was petrified that there was a mouse in the house that was going to come under my blankets and nibble on my toes.

This past weekend was a very eventful one! On friday November 7th Nathan took me out to the Keg to celebrate our two year engagement anniversary. Seriously, why not? I think all couples should take the time to celebrate every milestone, not just the marrying one. On March 21st we will be celebrating our 4th year as being a couple! haha. If you don't celebrate the little things, you should start now! Anyhoo, although we got to the restaurant after 8 0'clock there was still an hour wait, but we found lots of ways to entertain ourselves. Nathan is so fun to be with. If you go to the Keg you have to get the asparagus and snap pea tempura. I'd rather have that than a steak, it is seriously amazing!

On Saturday morning we got up at a very indecent hour and packed the rest of our stuff and headed to the ferry! We decided on the monday that we would go to the island to help Chris and Kellee move about 100 ft away from their old place. We didn't want to stress them out so we spent the night at Leah's house which was a really nice treat. She is so generous and she actually gave up her bedroom for us! And her roomate was really sweet and hospitable and we already want to go back and visit. It was so nice to see Leah, we could just sit and talk for hours about the big issues of our lives, but we also have so much fun together. Even though we hadn't seen eachother since january we always just pick up where we left off. I am so grateful for her friendship.

It was also really really nice to see Chris and Kellee and the kids as well. It is always so encouraging to talk to them. I was really struggling lately with the feeling that I haven't accomplished anything. We have no careers, no plans for kids... but Kellee just reminded me that I don't have to compare myself to other people. We will get there and when we do it will be great and it will be at the right time. That was really good for me to hear. I was discouraged to think that Nathan still has four years of school to do, but now I actually feel really excited for it. She also reminded me that I have a husband who I get to go through all of this with, not a lot of people my age have that kind of support. That is also very true. Thank you Kellee!!! haha

On tuesday Kate, Gareth, and TJ caught the 7 o'clock ferry (I found out that Gareth and TJ only went to bed at 3 and got up at 5, that explains why they were rather zombie-like) so they could help the Synesaels move as well. Let me just say that they have a lot of stuff haha. It was really good though and it was fun to have them with us on the ferry ride back.

Anyway, I suppose that's all I have to say. We didn't go out and do anything super exciting, we mostly all just sat around and talked. That is my kind of visit! It was relaxing and rejuvenating and good. mmmmmhhhmmmm!!

Have a lovely rest of your week to whoever reads this!

p.s. Kellee... I'm glad you got the blue coat! It looks AMAZING on you :)
